“Fantastic service, so friendly and nothing too much bother. Food was excellent and the room was beautiful, massive bathroom with a lovely freestanding bath. Such a cosy place with a fire going in the snug area of the bar, perfect for a weekend away. It was the first time I've taken my boyfriend away for his birthday, thank you to The White Hart for earning me extra brownie points! I don't normally go back to hotels as I like trying new places but I would definitely come back here.

The rooms of the hotel are beautifully decorated and serviced to a high standard. Beds are very comfortable and offer a great night’s sleep...We arrived back from our business day for a few drinks in the bar and the staff on duty were an absolute credit to The White Hart, very friendly. Following morning breakfast was a great start to the day...A truly delightful old coaching inn well worth a visit. l would fully recommend a stay here.

I recently stayed and ate at the White Hart. My room was well appointed and spotlessly clean! I was served at the bar by a very friendly and professional barman called Alex who had a thorough knowledge of the well-cellared real ales brewed by the pubs owners, the Upham brewery. My food order was taken by Becky who had a thorough knowledge of the menu and confidently recommended dishes for me from a varied menu. The food was excellent and I'll definitely stay here again!

Thank the Lord for Upham Brewery for realising what a Gem this place could be. From the time we entered the main bar, early on a Friday afternoon, to registering for our one nights' stay we were met by smiling and helpful staff and a very acceptable pint of fine ale and a beautifully prepared light(ish) lunch. We were able to book straight into our room in the "Stable Yard" and were very pleased with the excellent fixtures and fittings, comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities and, THEN, the en-suite!!! Blimey!!! What an excellent room! Big enough to hold a small dance with a lovely free-standing bath, good sized basin and a wet room type shower that would grace any five star establishment.
